I was camping when I got mine and my best friend was in the bathroom with me right when it happened. she had a pad just in case hers started too. then I told my mom

My best friend... Lol. She was in the stall next to me. I was like... Ummmm I think I have a problem. She knew exactly what it was and went to get her mom. (Like my 2nd mom) My mom was out of the country for that week 😲

I woke up at 3am to blood all over me and my sheets, screamed for mum and she carried me into the bathroom, washed me, gave me a maternity pad and slept in my freshly made bed with me. I then continued to have a heavy flow for a month. Was all too fun for a 10 year old that was on holiday and terrified of blood.
