Stomach aches?

Yesterday we had breakfast with my father in law and then ordered food with my dad & family for dinner last night. After we ate DH went to work and later called complaining his stomach hurt. He came home around 11pm and went to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I was gonna throw up and the stomach ache from hell. (Not cramps, just like a legit belly ache) couldn't sleep comfortably the rest of the night & then woke up at 6 for work with only a minor stomach ache and now heartburn from hell. All that combined with exhaustion and I just couldn't face the day so I called in sick today. I'm 12w4d

Anyone else experiencing stomach aches during pregnancy? I am assuming it was something we ate. But still it was just miserable all night.
