Gender Reveal Gone Wrong!

Cassie
So I need to vent and advice on what to do! So my SO and I had planned to have the gender reveal on Fathers Day. We had told the gender to our immediate family and my SOs family since they live in Florida. But I really wanted to do a gender reveal for all of my cousins aunts uncles and grandparents. I honestly just wanted a great picture to post on social media and to put in the baby book. I purchased silly string the day of, that had a blue cap so I assumed the color was blue. Right before we left for the party I tested it out and it came out white. I was so upset and had no time to go to another store and try to find silly string so we agreed we would do a picture. And say on the count of three it's a boy and have a picture with everyone's reaction. When we got to the party my aunt told me she already knows we are having a boy. She is the worst with keeping secrets and told my other aunts, grandmother, grandfather,  along with my cousin and her fiancée. I asked how she found out she said she looked up my registry and I should have waited to do that. That its not her fault I should have known she would be noisy and look it up. Our shower isn't until the end of September. There was no reason for her to even  look up the registry considering she didn't even purchase anything yet. So I just told the kids in the family during dinner. No surprise no picture no big announcement. Just we are having a boy. Do I have a right to be upset or is it my own fault for registering right after finding out we are having a boy? We were just so excited. By the way I didn't tell anyone we had already registered. Baby shower invites hadn't been sent out yet. She just assumed and went snooping online.
