FTM--- ? for moms with 1+ kiddies

Question

Any moms remember their first time around & if they had any pre-labor signs ?

Ex: hip and lower back pain, etc. ( I don't mean obvious things like your water broke lol!)

I know labor is different for everyone, but curious if there were any symptoms that your body had- and you just KNEW labor was soon to follow ?

With my first I was awaken around 4 AM with contractions and I knew it was time. They felt different. I was 41+1 and I've read that that's the average length of a first time pregnancy, so I had been expecting them to start that day, and they did! I sat in the tub until dawn praying and getting myself ready for the situation mentally. After dawn I got hungry. Like, reeeeealy hungry. I went into the kitchen and put back 3 portions of meatloaf and sides from the night before. Then I was full of energy. I washed dishes and couldn't sit still, so I went for a walk. All of this was after having trouble eatting normal sized portions and being pretty tired all the time. I became an energized, bottomless pit!

I had no clue with my first after i gave birth i recognized how i was feeling before hand was my body getting ready for labor.. Saturday, all day just felt uncomfortable like couldn't get comfy in a chair and stuff..nothing major..no pain.. And my belly looked hugggeee..i had some tiny contractions before bed..fell asleep woke up to pee.. Had my bloody show.. Went to l&d cuz dr said so and honestly felt perfectly fine & awore id just get sent home (i was scheduled for a c-section in 4 days)...buuuuut nope i was actually contracting and didnt feel it & was 3cm when i went in and they went ahead and did the c-section. Baby #2 no bloody show or anything..some not painful contractions but they seemed regular so i went in and was 3cm in labor had baby next day (i went in late at night and they kept me). Its not always so obvious..this baby I'm trying to wait and be 100% sure im in labor before going in just because i dont feel like i NEED to labor the entire time in a hospital, uncomfortable, hooked up to monitors and stuff. 👍

With my first I was busy all day before. We were installing a new floor in our home and I was helping my bf. Lol lots of squatting, getting tools and just moving around. That night I noticed my plug came out. So I knew it would be soon. At night I had some slight contractions but they didn't feel any different than Braxton hicks. At about 6 am I went to pee. Can e back to bed and 2 seconds later my water broke. I was 1.5 cm and 100%. I was 39.4 weeks.

With my first I had no symptoms at all. Just water breaking. Didn't even lose my plug last time. So this time I'm freaking out bc idk the signs lol

I don't think so but my doctor swept my membranes and that was def why I went into labor 5 days early

That kind of pain is typical of late pregnancy, so it might not mean anything. Most people (not all) pretty much just know labor because of consistently times contractions. There isn't necessarily much warning. With my first, my water never broke naturally-- they had to do it in the hospital because I was super dilated and contracting and it still hadn't!

Preterm labor at 34 weeks. I had low dull pain in my back different from Braxton hicks. More like what i get when i have period cramps. Went to L&D was dialated to 4 cm. Doctor wanted to wait to deliver so she got contractions under control until 37 weeks.
