Has this ever happened to anyone else?

So I got a positive on Friday and it was light so I tested again and the line isn't getting any darker. I am over a week late now. I am buying a digital tomorrow to confirm but I know digital tests need more hCG then dye tests. But if the line isn't getting darker or is getting lighter what does it mean ?

Could be the amount of water you had been drinking, and that affected how concentrated your urine was. Could be that you took them at different times during the day. Could be that the tests were different brands and so pick up different levels of hcg. It could be a number of things, don't stress too much and congratulations :)

Make sure our take the test first thing in the morning that will help, otherwise just wait a few days those hormones go up fast and you will get a better line

I disagree with the first morning urine thing because mine would be light in the morning and when I tested during the afternoon they'd be a lot darker! As long as they get dark a few days later even the slightest you should be fine. All test strips have different amounts of dyes in them.
