What's the youngest you started potty training your little one and what did you do when they refused to stay in diapers?

We started at 2 1/2 he was potty trained by 3.

17 months and we did the three day method. Worked perfectly and I am so incredibly thankful we got it out of the way early!

My son did this at 16 months. We got him a potty and he loved being just like daddy 😊 we let him go nude at home, unless we had visitors.  Reminded him every 20 minutes to try and rewarded him with 1 mini m&m if he did a potty and a sticker if he tried. It worked awesome! Day time took him a couple weeks to complete. Night time took him a couple months to complete.

We waited until 3. They were pee pee trained in 5 days and fully poop trained in less than 3 weeks.

I'm probably going to cold turkey it. My son is only one and a half, but he grabs the front of his diaper before he pees, and he knows not to potty at all with no diaper on. He's very smart, and honestly I think he may train early. I'm not rushing him though.

In daycare we start potty training at 2 as long as we have parents consent. But by time they are 4 they have to know how. You'd be surprised by how many delay potty training until the last min.

18 months. I used the book Oh Crap Potty Training, and it was honestly easy. In the book she says 20-30 months old is the window of opportunity where it is the easiest.

We got a little potty for his 2nd bday and started introducing the idea and what it was for. Around 2 1/2 we started using the potty, but he wasn't ready to be fully potty trained until after 3. I think 2 is a good time to start introducing the idea and the basics, but expect it to take a little while for them to fully get it. We let him decide when he was ready, and we have had like 2 accidents, mostly from him not being able to fully hold it on the way to the potty. It's been great! And there was zero frustration because we weren't forcing and he wasn't being pushed.

My son was 2 1/2. When they refuse to stay in diapers cold turkey it. They don't want a diaper then they are ready to start using big potty. You'll have some accidents and it'll be messy but so worth it when they are completely trained.
