Is it possible my OB did a sweep without letting me know ? I have been checked for dilation 3 times already but today he told me I was about 2cm with barely anymore thinning to do and when he was in my cervix he basically went in a circle and I felt the sac move..it was a really weird feeling.

Is that what a membrane sweep is like or is he checking me differently because I'm dilated more ? I'm 38w but he also told me he thinks he will see me next week, but I probably won't make it to my due date.
