Well, as you may know, there are many "shock sites" out there that offer pictures & videos of horrible things like beheadings, gruesome car accidents, suicides etc. I stumbled upon one of these sites by accident (I never knew such awful sites existed) and despite wanting to throw up and hating myself for watching it, I couldn't stop. I just kept clicking and I found more and more horrible things. I didn't think I was the kind of person who could handle seeing these things but I while I was disgusted at what I saw-I also was intrigued and curious. It got me thinking about if a fascination with gore and morbid things is "normal" or not. There seems to be a high interest from what I saw on the one website.
