Johnson and Johnson

Brittany
What is this I hear about Johnson and Johnson baby wash? Because that's all I can personally use currently to keep my PH balance level and it has to be the lavender night time wash because all the others just smell weird to me currently. An it's all that my mother in law and mom has bought for my baby once he is born. An no summers eve hasn't helped and neither has dove sensitive skin. I kept yeast infections when using those two. An yes I know your technically not even suppose to use soap when you wash down there but if I am having more discharge and sweating down there I'm going to make it clean and not just sprinkle water on it and hope it washes away the stink from the day.

It has a lot of chemicals in it. It's nothing new....its just finally coming to the public. Have you tried Dr. Brommers on yourself? It's completely natural. I also use Burts bees and Burts Bees on my baby and I love it!

I loveee the peppermint, especially in the hot summer! That's the one I have now...I love switching to the different ones! And I just saw it auto correct to brommers lol

I use Dr. Bronner's too! I used to use the peppermint, because (call me crazy) I just like the fresh tingle, but since being pregnant I switched to the baby soap, and it's all I use, full body.

Talc powder can cause ovarian cancer - this includes baby powder and things like Shower 2 Shower.

My grandmother used it daily in her shoes and died of ovarian cancer. I wouldn't believe there was a link until I saw the lawsuits!

What have you heard about it?

It's the parabens in the soaps and lotions. They have estrogen mimicking properties, so the hormone disruption can lead to cancer. Parabens are actually in a lot of products so you have to be watchful. Since children are so much smaller it's beloved their bodies absorb more than is safe.

They apperantly took the cancer causing ingredient out of the powder so now safe to use

it's the baby powder that the concern is about

I've read about it having parabens and other estrogenic-mimicking properties. We don't use any of their products. On our son we use Burt's Bees, or Babyganics, I've also heard good things about California Baby products but I haven't checked those out personally. My husband recently bought this and it's amazing. The smell is glorious! Our new favorite for sure. You might like Dr. Bronner's for yourself. It's a good, simple, strong cleanser, and the lavender scent is really nice.
