I got told my twins were boys at 14w exactly. They are definetly boys!!!

What gender? What KIND of test to determine gender?
Ultrasounds are NOT as acurate as blood testing..for example, the Harmony test- it's primary usage is to check for down syndrome and other malformations, however, it also looks at the X and Y gender chromosomes, thus being able to determine the gender.
Harmony blood testing is 99% accurate at 12 weeks and 99.9% acurate after 12 weeks.
Ultrasound gender is not nearly as acurate that early and while SOME are able to get to see a gender at 15 weeks, most ultrasound techs refuse to give a definite answer until closer to 18-20 weeks, or when the baby decides to give a PERFECT shot of their privates...
Blood testing is by far more acurate than ultrasound.
We opted for the harmony test at the 12 weeks NT scan visit. It told us that we are going to have a baby girl.. 23 weeks 5 days today - still a girl.  Harmony test was indeed correct at 12 weeks.

I had early ultrasounds at 15 weeks for both of my pregnancies. My son was very obviously a boy; my daughter was very obviously a girl. Both confirmed. I have been told that not all babies are so well defined at the same gestational age, and sometimes they're stubborn and won't provide the technician with an optimal shot.
