No baby on ultrasound?

My hcg was 1000 on the blood test, but there was nothing on the ultrasounds. What does this mean?

It's probably too early. With my first I went in at 6 weeks (thinking I was 9 weeks) and all they could see was a sac with the teeniest flicker of a heartbeat (I couldn't see it and neither could my hubby). This time around I went in again thinking 9 weeks when I was only 5. Again nothing on the screen aside from a sac. Most Drs won't see you until at least 8 weeks because any sooner there is a chance that they can't see anything. Give it a few more weeks and easier said then done, try not to worry.

My sister has to wait until her number is 3000 before they schedule a ultrasound. Its probably too early to see anything.

When I was 5-6 weeks my levels were over 5,000 and my doctor said we should be able to see something .. And all we saw was the sac and yolk sac so she said I was around 5 weeks . I'm now 23 weeks with healthy baby .  So it's just to early to see anything

I'm 5 weeks and 1 day, went to urgent care yesterday after find a clot when I wiped, but I've only had light spotting and dull cramps, they couldn't see anything on the ultrasound but a tiny little sac, def too early to see anything they said, my HCG levels are 1200, but because iver been spotting for a week and a half and had that clot they are going to monitor my levels to make sure I'm not having another miscarriage, but this is nothing like my last miscarriage so I'm staying hopefully everything is ok!

I'm sure your ok. I had a friend who went to the er when she was around five weeks. They told her the baby was gone. Two weeks later she saw her baby boy on an ultrasound.

He said I'm probably about 5 weeks give or take and they scheduled another blood test for Thursday. I'm just a worrier.

How far along are you? There isn't much to see until at least 6 weeks and Ben then, sometimes the tech can't find anything. Try not to worry, they should do a follow up hcg blood draw to make sure your numbers are increasing. You may think you are farther along die to a late ovulation or implanting.
