How long did you wait before having intercourse with you SO ??
(I know doctors advise 4-6 weeks, I didn't tear during delivery & my bleeding is light to none.)

5weeks because I stopped bleeding, had my period already, and felt up to it. Very up to it ;)

You should wait atleast 5-8 weeks because whether you tore or not your cervix could still be open and having sex before it closes puts you at risk for a serious infection.

I think it's down to how you feel. They recommend using a condom until you have stopped bleeding because there is a risk of infection. We waited a couple of months and that felt right for us both.
