Who actually is having the baby? Long Rant

okaasan
Is it wrong for me to feel so upset that my SO likes to tell me that its his baby? "it came from his sac" "im just a hotel for it to stay in" "all I had to do was lay there, he did all the work" yada yada etc..,. Even tho I think he is joking for the most part it still upsets me because I wonder, if men actually understand what it takes to grow a baby and what we go through physically, mentally, emotionally, and why they think its just so damn easy. I work 6 days a week 8hrs a day my entire day with travel is about 10 to 12 hrs im 7months pregnant I still come home and have to deal with all this and the house work and bills and errands etc.. like what part of this looks easy. I would really love for them to go through this and than say "ya I did all the work". My sister just had her baby and she was breastfeeding her two week old and daddy doesnt live with mom but they were at his house and my sister fell asleep while feeding the baby, she felt comfortable doing this because daddy is sitting up right there playing video games. The baby fell off the bed and he got mad at her and said, why did you fall asleep? I seen her slipping. Well why the heck didnt he grab her instead he turned and blamed my sleep deprived sister who has been doing this on her own and tells her you shoulve been awake. WTF where do these supposedly men get this from. My coworker is the only one who I have heard say I give you women props, doing everything you do and making a baby I will never know how you guys do it, but man it amazes me. like gasp Thank you, seriously thank you for appreciating and seeing what we do. Dont get me wrong I love being pregnant, I enjoy every moment of it and I wouldn't trade it to anyone for anything but a little acknowledgment wouldnt hurt instead of saying thats my baby I did all the work, in two seconds. You're just a host. Dont get me wrong SO does try and help and take care of me but dont take all the credit. End of rant
