Vaginal birth after hip replacement?

So I am bionic woman and had a total hip replacement at 18.  I am now 25.  I've had one Child via c section due to being super scared and we thought he was going to be huge! But he was only 7 lbs. This go around I want a normal birth. Has anyone at all had a hip replacement and had a vaginal birth after? I'm afraid of my hip popping out! What would they do? Just needing to hear some stories of anyone has some!

I just want to say I chuckled at "bionic woman" haha and while I don't know about this personally I have had two hip surgeries to repair a labral tear and to shave part of my bone. I'm pregnant with my first and while I'm worried about messing up my hip again I'm going for all natural anyways. Good luck!

A friend of mine just did. She had her hip replaced years ago, and had to get it redone about 2.5 years ago. She had her first child, delivered vaginally, last month. No complications, not a huge baby but not a tiny one. She had concerns about her hip also, but all her doctors, physical therapists, etc., agreed that it was safe on her hip to deliver naturally. She's going back to work next week (baby will be 6 wks) to her very physical job as a ballet teacher, so it's safe to say recovery has been easy on her hip too. Not my firsthand experience, and of course every woman is different, but I hope this is helpful.
