Why do they look at me like that?!

So this has been happening for a while now. I'm 7 months pregnant, 28 weeks to be exact.. And EVERYWHERE I go I feel like ppl are gawking at me! I'm not that tiny, petite woman with the little cute belly popping out. I feel huge, and they definitely look at me like that. There's times that they just stare at my stomach and never make eye contact with me. I feel somewhat like I'm being pregnancy-shamed or fat-shamed. Idk. I also go to the pool in a two piece. Why do I need to be ashamed? I'm happy and trying to enjoy my pregnancy and they make me feel embarrassed. Anyone else experiencing this? Sorry about the messy hair, pjs pic.. Just got out of the shower 😖

18 and pregnant. Get this all the time because im "too young." You think the looks are bad? Its when people say things that really hurt.. :/

First of all you don't look fat!! You look pregnant and beautiful!
Secondly I've had people who are ringing my stuff out at the store completely only stare at my belly vs looking me in the face when they talk to me. I think people are just ignorant lol

I'm almost 27 weeks and EVERYWHERE I go now I am stared at... people don't even make eye contact with my anymore! And don't even get me started on strangers touching my belly or asking if I'm having twins 🙄

I think some of it might be in your mind. I have been feeling really well, and often oblivious of how other people see things. Eventually, I was surprised to acknowledge that people were often unduly nice. They would carry things for me in the  shops, or let me cut queues, etc and I wouldn't expect it. So I say, try to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I know that feeling.. You get out the car and walk into walmart and everyome you pass is either staring or smiling or just plan talking about you.

I do too, I'm obviously pregnant but ive also gained enough weight that I'm "Obese" now as well... I get stares especially from older women... I try not to let it bother me but I am very self conscious about it.

Sorry. But in my opinion maybe they're just admiring your cute belly when I was trying and couldn't get pregnant yet I used to stare so hard at Bellys and would never make eye contact. Always adored it and wished I was pregnant too.
