Follow up to 'Painful Intercourse' post

A couple weeks ago I posted about how without condoms but with lube I have a painful burning feeling with sex.  I didn't think lube was the problem because we were using KY, so I didn't know what else it could be. I saw my Gyno and after ruling everything else out, she suggested we try a silicone or oil-based lube. So we tried silicone based and it worked! No pain! My husband thinks it makes things "too slippery" so we might have to try a different brand or oil instead of silicone. Thought I'd post this update in case anyone else out there is having the same issue and isn't sure what to do.
