Mommy's who are using formula: do you heat up your baby's bottle or keep it room temperature??

I use a tommee tippee perfect prep machine which makes bottles at body temp to give straight away which is just as well with my hungry pup! X

I buy the gallons of baby water and just store them at room temperature, I did the same with my first too.

I never warmed mine. My brother dos with his first and my nephew would only take warm bottles. They couldn't feed him on the go and it was horrible. They didn't do it with their second!

Since my daughter has never had warm, she doesn't know what she's missing! I did give her cold bottles for a few weeks (I'd make the ones for her night feedings before bed and put them in the fridge). After about two weeks of that she wouldn't take them cold anymore.

Now I set the water up for the day in the morning and then just scoop in the formula when the time comes. I count the scoops with her and then I sing, "shake, shake, shake" while I'm shaking it. It's a nice little game and she gets excited!

I premake mines in a pitcher and store it in the fridge, we heat it up each time he is ready to eat. Use baby water to mix with formula

Room temp. If it's been in the fridge we heat it a little some of the time so it's not too cold, she still takes it cold but giving it cold causes them to burn calories and we don't want that.

My theory in not warming it every time is that if we are out and about and I have to give her a bottle it's never hot so I try to keep it room temperature so she will always take it!

I buy the little 8oz water bottles, measure out 4oz, stick a funnel in, dump in 2 scoops of formula, give it a shake, then dump it into the baby bottle.
