I had a MMC back in March. I took cytotec and never really had a good feeling about it. A week later I had some suction done in the doctors office. It took 14 (!!) weeks for me to get AF again. Wednesday night I started cramping and bleeding. The cramps were pretty bad but ibuprofen and a heating pad helped a lot. Thursday I went to work and felt fine but Thursday night the cramps came back and it was almost exactly like my MC. I was on the toilet for about an hour. I was vomiting. Nothing helped. I have never been in so much pain in my life. After severe cramping and vomiting for 10+ hours I had to go to the ER. They stabilized me and couldn't find an infection or other problem. They tested for pregnancy to see if this was another MC but the tests were negative (and DH and I have been using protection). They think it's just an incredibly heavy period because it's been so long. Has this happened to anyone else? I expected a heavy period but not a trip to the ER!!
