Working from home when baby is here ??

I'm expecting a little bundle of joy soon, and I was wondering on a way to maybe make some money while staying at home with them?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Please refrain from "get a normal job" I really wish I could, just at this moment it has not been easy.
I'm willing to try anything I can really.. I have a laptop and any work I can do from it would be awesome !! Thank you so much in advance

Here ya go! I work from home full time for Anthem Blue Cross in the Transplant Department. You dont have to be an IT tech to work from home. Also, depending on what you do, the pay is phenomenal! Put it this way, i make over $25 an hour. You just have to know where to look!http://money.cnn.com/2016/01/26/pf/work-from-home-jobs/

The "work from home "reality. This will be long, and I apologize. Unless u want to sell crap online, or attempt the -it works-crap, "working from home" jobs are not as easy as you might think. Remote jobs ARE real and DO pay REALLY WELL. However, they are NOT something you just get. You simply MUST have some experience in both working remotely(thus having a solid base knowledge of how to work your way around a computer),AND EXPERIENCE in a field, such as Remote Tech Support, or Customer Service, or Medical Billing and Coding. Those three are pretty much the ONLY remote fields you can get into. From those three fields, many remote positions branch off and become available. You also need to meet minimum requirements. These requirements are usually standard, no matter what fowldield or company u end up with. .such as a DESKTOP computer(laptops are unstable ). FAST Internet connection (they do test your connection). MUST be connected via ethernet cable, NOT wifi (wifi is unstable ). Windows 7 or above. A QUIET work environment at all times while you're on the clock. And it doesn't end there...just cause you get to work out of your home and pjs, doesn't mean u will work the shift and hours YOU want. ..shifts are usually put up for bidding EVERY SIX MONTHS. .and the ones with seniority over you, WILL GET THE BETTER SHIFT (HOURS), meaning you will probably be stuck night time shift for a while. REAL REMOTE JOBS ARE AWSOME, but by far harder to obtain and maintain. My first remote job as a remote IT TECH SUPPORT, just like any other REAL remote jobs, required me to have at least a year in the field and a bare minimum of an A+ certification. Extended knowledge of computers, customer service and remote access knowledge.i has to pass 2 over the phone interviews, pass the system requirements and I was shadowed for the first 6 months. While not all remote positions are the same, most if the requirements do not change. The reality is that there no easy remote jobs.

well.. guess u know better than someone with over 20 years experience IN the remote fields. tech or otherwise. I put my dues. worked them jobs. I DO know the ins and outs hun..no need to jump on me. I also know that it's IMPOSSIBLE to get a REAL remote job-such as yours, UNLESS U HAVE EXPERIENCE in that field AND in the remote field. YOU DO need to meet minimum requirements. no need to make it sound EASY. u make 25 an hour..good for u. YOU, just like me, worked HARD to get there. u didn't mat start making that with zero experience..working for BCBH...umm don't u need a certification or two? I'm sure YOU have them. . I own several businesses..and while I don't make hourly anymore. I remember those days. .25 an hour is FANTASTIC... good for u! proud to see women like u.. I did that with my last remote job. until I realized it's time to make my own future and stop giving others my money.. I make 80k year after taxes and overhead. I'm good with that. however, to do that, YOU DO need plenty of experience regardless of it field or something else. u don't just get jobs like this for sitting there. ..doing ur research is often not enough. experience, knowledgeable, certifications and years of living. ..that what gets u the good jobs

Cassie, i usually agree with you. but this time, you are not 100% correct. ..maybe 65%. working from home is not a scam. you just have to do research first, as you should always before applying to any job. best thing to do is search within large reputable companies and search for telecommute jobs. millions of positions out there. really! trust someone that works from home!

There's way to many scams out there..u COULD sell stuff online. .but u still need to have stuff to sell, time to box them, ship them etc etc. the "it works" crap..is CRAP. .any extra money u want to get working from home would be either sooo low ( 100 bux a month from filling in surveys online. .and that takes hours and hours and hours of sitting there doing surveys...or u need to have years experience in a particular field, a certification or two. ..schooling..etc etc.. otherwise ur just wasting ur time. .

Look into administrative work for non-profits. They often times don't have physical locations so you work from home, but it might require a few out of home meetings.
