Tons of mucous just came out-38.5 weeks

Sorry for the TMI, but I just went to the bathroom & when I wiped, I had a at TON of mucous come out. It kept coming & coming. I had a Dr. Appointment yesterday & she said I was 80% effaced. Does this mean labor is coming super soon, or is it still one of those "could be today, could be 2 weeks from now..." things? First time mama here-due date is 7/5. Have been really crampy since last night too.
