Mother issues

OK I need advice, since I've been pregnant my relationship with my mother has been closer. She's of the belief that all women should wear skirts, that pants are men's aparal. I'm not. Today she told me I'm not to come over unless I'm wearing a skirt. For one I don't want to teach my child that you should change to be accepted by someone else. I think its ridiculous and something I'm not willing to do. Am I over reacting?
