How did you know you were leading amniotic fluid without it gushing?
I just took a shower. ... put on a new pad and underwear and lied down. Out of no where I felt some liquid coming out and sat up. ... went to check it out and the liquid is tinted a bit yellow? I'm 38 weeks and 4 days.... not feeling any cramping yet either

Could be urine . I leaked with my first . Lay down for 30 min in the same position then get up.  If you leak again go get checked just in case.

My water broke at the hospital when I was having contractions already. It just came leaking out and running down my leg.

When my water broke with my second, I knew it was my water because it just kept coming, even if I wasn't moving around or using my abdominal muscles. My OB had me fully empty my bladder, lay down on my left side with a pad on, and stand up slowly after 20 minutes. If the pad was wet, I had to go in and have them check it.
