Hospital bag drama

Lexye
Ok, so I've been putting off packing my hospital bags for a long time. My doctor recommended having them packed completely except the stuff I use everyday by the beginning of the eighth month (31 weeks about). I'm 36 +4. Yesterday, I had to make a late night trip to the l&d unit because I thought my water broke. Long story short, I'm not usually hydrated enough for urine to be completely odorless and clear and the Braxton hicks were really intense. I spent about 5 minutes grabbing water, my phone, a charger, my keys, and wallet before running out the door and then 3 hours in the labor and delivery unit. The whole time I was stressing because my birth plan was thrown. I had no music, no clothes (had to wear a hospital gown instead of my night gown), not even my own pillow or blanket. Luckily, it was a false alarm this time. Seriously though ladies, do not put this off. If there is one piece of advice I would give, it would be to have this done. Packing bags now. Lol
