I'm 40 weeks today and having some major constipation. Just wondering if anyone knows whether or not it's safe to take an enema. And if so should I get the saline kind or the pill suppository?

My mom was just telling me that when she went into labor with my sister(who was her first) she had no idea, she thought she was constipated and kept trying to go to the bathroom and my grandma was like umm no we are going to the hospital and she was indeed in labor

Maybe phone the midwifes and ask them or an out of hours doctor that's probably your safest bet
