The baby is very protected in there. There is no harm in sleeping on your stomach throughout your entire pregnancy, it's just usually very uncomfortable for most women as their belly gets bigger.

I've specifically asked my doctor about this and no it is not a problem. Baby is very protected and if you are comfortable then it is fine. My SIL slept on her stomach through her third trimester and only stopped around 35 weeks.
