How should schools classes be?

I'm going to write the answers here and I'll just put what options they are in the boxes because there's not enough space.

Option A: 8 classes each semester, no change 
Option B: 8 classes one semester, and then a different 8 classes the next semester (16 combined)
Option C: 4 classes each semester, no change. 
Option D: 4 classes one semester, and a different 4 classes the next semester (8 combined)
Option E: other (please explain in the comments)

I think it depends on the school. Like middle school? High school?

When I was in middle school we had the same 7 classes all year.

I wish in high school we could have 7 the first half and then get new ones the second half.

Depends. I was on trimesters, so it was a little different. I liked it because they did a full year of classes in only 2 semesters, so you had lots of ability to stagger them with electives, or get work credit, etc. and it really helped the sports kids take the heavier loads of classes when it wasn't their sports season, that's way they weren't constantly behind in core subjects because they had to leave for out of town games at 3 in the morning.

In high school I had four courses I stayed with for a full school year, and then two electives I switched out on when the semester changed. It would be like 
Math
English
Science
History
Guitar/ and then piano next semester 
Hope / group sports the next semester
