Advice for me?

I am 16 and almost 7 weeks pregnant. I will be 17 when the baby is born. I just need some advice on anything really. Expenses, what's necessary, how to handle being pregnant, anything helps.

Perhaps start a baby budget. Get a list of most needed items, price out what you like, and start stocking back money when you can. Keep in mind babies don't need a ton...I overbought with my son and having too much stuff around the house is just more to care for and less playtime with baby imo. Look for products that have multiple purposes to save $- like a swing that always works as a bouncer, a crib that can convert to toddler bed, etc. Take care of yourself....if you don't want to have to loose a ton of weight, make healthy food choices and stay physically active like walking, etc. The better you can stay in shape the easier delivery and recovery will be. Check with your hospital about birth/child care classes. I was a first time mom at 33 and still found them extremely helpful.

Doing your baby shower early..after you find out sex will help you see what all you need sooner. Then go from there. Facebook yardsale sites are amazing for finding nice used things for good prices.
