When people tell you or someone else that they did it and you and your baby will be fine?? Why do people even ask or listen? Would you take the risk that just because their baby didn't get hurt or die from a drop down crib that your baby I'll be fine? Or that you won't get listeria and loose your baby because Somone said that they have 5 kids and ate cold deli meat and were all fine, when 17% of pregnant women get listeria? Or put your car seat on top of the grocery cart because a bunch of people said it would be ok, when there are 21,000 child related injuries and fatalities a year from not following proper procedures? I'm not a perfect mom, but I always look up the risks myself and I don't think that just for a min my child will be ok because someone else's was??
