I have an IUD (mirena) and after the first two weeks my period stopped completely.  I've had it for nearly 7 months now, but I've suddenly started experiencing cramps and bleeding...the blood is really mucus-y but there's bright red spots in it and it also smells a bit funky...don't think it's pierced my uterine wall or anything as there's no extreme pain, but is this normal? Can anyone help
