Should I text him again?

I dated this guy for three months before and felt it wasn't moving forward. We suppose to catch a movie together afterwork on a Wednesday but none of us texted each other thro that week, til Wednesday I asked 'been busy?'. He didn't reply til Saturday asking 'how's your Saturday going?' I was kinda pissed at him so I didn't reply and cut him off. 
Last week my friend encouraged me to text him again. Very surprisingly he texted me back. But now it's kinda died again, not sure if I should text him again? Or maybe he is not even interested anymore? What would you girls do in this case 
Ps: he is a very dry texter, typical topic killer lol

even though he's a dry texter, he'd still try harder to make plans if he was interested. if he was really that interested you guys wouldn't of went that long without talking. don't waste your time on someone you have to question about being interested in you, find someone that makes it clear they're interested. you deserve it ❤️

Yeah that first time he didn't answer back I would've already deleted his message thing and forgot his name. I know when boys lose interest but If he wanted to make an effort good for him I don't stand for people who won't text back or finish the conversation at least. Nope fuck that ain't got time for that bull.
