Any 40+ natural 1st baby success stories?

I'm on my 10th cycle trying. Dr suggests clomid and iui next mo. Basically said my age is my issue. Was hypo then hyper adjusted meds, Everything else checked out. Would luv to hear some Ss from you that have ttc in here.

Hi there!  I am a couple months from being 40.  Have had 2 mc's in last 2 years.  Been seriously TTC for 6 months, tried clomid for 2 months which didn't work for me. Went to RE to get tested and everything looked fine so he asked me to try natural this month.  And bam, BFP!  I did have an HSG which they say can improve fertility.  This is my first so praying for a sticky bean!  GL to you! 
​ Ps.  I have a girlfriend who turned 40 in February and is currently 8.5 months pregnant after femara!  There is light at the end for us 'advanced maternal agers'!!!

My friend tried for 8 years to get pregnant and finally adopted. Then found out she was pregnant at 41 and again at 44 without trying. Studies say this isn't necessarily a coincidence, that the stress being over could contribute to the success. Good luck!

Could you tell me more about HSG?  Isn't that to check for blockages?  And how does or did that help? And may I ask how old you are?  I'm 43 ttc
