Which did you prefer?

Question

I plan to co sleep for the first few months but still want to get a seperate bed for the baby. Just curious what worked best for you and why?

I prefer bassinet to pack and play. It was so awkward to lay my little one down in and pick him up if he was sleeping. He always woke up!

We didn't use any. She slept in the bed or in her swing.

bassinets are nice because you can put them right next to your bed. pack and plays you can do that with too but you have to bend down a lot farther. my baby is a month old and hasn't slept in her crib hardly at all. every time I lay her in there she instantly wakes up. since my boyfriend works third shift he's gone at night and I have been letting her sleep in bed with me on his side. I pull away all loose blankets from her and lay far enough away so that my weight doesn't cause her to roll towards me.

I am using a cosleeper - look it up on amazon or something, provides a safe flat place for baby while making breastfeeding way easier! (The one I have is the snuggle nest surround and looks almost like a doggie bed)

I had a pack and play with my son and it was so handy. I could take it wherever and turned it into a play pen

My baby is starting to refuse to sleep by herself. She is two weeks and is fustrating. I can hold her while I'm asleep, I'd be afraid something wld happen.
