Registry questions!

I am only 4 weeks so I definitely don't plan on creating my baby registry for a long time. But, I was just curious as to when you ladies did? And where? How long did it take you to do all your research and get everything you need on there? I'm also not sure what is too much/too little. Lol so many questions but the registry is probably the thing I'm so unsure about right now!
