Sex and period smell?

So I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I slept with my husband this morning and it smelled like period while we were doing it.... Sorry if it's tmi but I just wanted to know if it was normal and if anyone else experienced this....

Answer

I can't say I've experienced it, but the uterus is much more sensitive during pregnancy, so it might be some very slight bleeding happening that you're not even able to notice except for the smell.
