What would you do if ur SO hurt you physically!?

Okay what would you do if ur SO hit you in an outburst of anger but later apologizes for his actions? Your more then welcome to say what u would do and why :)

Well it depends, if its bc the r just assholes then for sure end it but if it was accident or i hit them first then i understand it... it really depends on situtation......
I would like to say that i was raised to never let a man put his hands on me but i personally believe if a women and put her hands on a man then he has a right to defend himself.

When I was young my father beat my mom so severely she slipped a disk in her neck. He swore he would never harm her again, and even went to counseling. Guess what? She stayed with him, hoping it was a one time slip. After 38 years, several scars, nerve damage in her arms and neck, daily verbal abuse and a broken heart because he cheated on her she is finally leaving him- but is full of so much regret. She stayed with him "for my sake", but I was constantly terrified he would lose his temper and kill her so I was on high alert my whole childhood.  I would never ever wish this experience on any child. Once is too many times, and domestic violence needs to be treated as a serious offense. No relationship can work when your body and mind are not respected by your partner. Do not suffer in fear, leave!

His ass would be in jail, plain and simple. There is absolutely NO excuse for physical violence, take a walk and calm your ass down. I think one of the best things about my relationship with my SO is we give eachother space when we're angry, and 9 times out of 10 that ends with an apology and us making up the next day.

If it was just an accident, like I was standing behind him or something and he didn't know then went to turn out was talking,  I'd say whatever.  If he did it intentionally, sober or drunk,  he would be riding in a police car to jail and not coming back home

I can tell you that he wouldn't be walking away from it. My reaction time is WAY to quick for that shit. If he were to ever dish it he better take it 10fold because I don't tolerate that. Then he'd have a hell of a time with my dad 😳

I'd dump him cause if you keep letting it slide he's gonna start to think it's okay, and it's only gonna escalate from there. Happened with my ex, we were sitting in his car and I was in the drivers seat and I accidentally honked the horn and he got all pissed and grabbed my arm really hard to pull be away from the wheel. He was apologizing like crazy afterwards because when he grabbed me he dug his nails into my forearms and ended up breaking the skin, and I eventually got a couple of bruises. Granted, he was already an extremely emotionally abusive person to begin with but once it got physical, it finally dawned on me that I needed to get out, and so I did! Took me three years, but I did it!
