Baby Julian's birth story

cc
Due date was June 28th but i had my appointment set to get induced June 21st at 8am (due to GD) well hubby decided to take my daughter& to the zoo, he said the walking would probably help things go smoother&i guess he was right in a way. At 12:30 i woke up to what i thought were Braxton hicks. I didn't think much of them as i would get them everyday, so i fell back asleep but around 1:30am i woke up to stronger pains along with what i call "the poopy feeling" so i called my midwife to ask for advice she told me that since i had the urge to poop i had to go get checked out. So i wokeup my hubby&we were on our way. While on our way a truck full of guys started screaming at us telling us to get off the car& give them the keys! Omg i was so scared! Hubby tried explaining to them that i was in labor but they didn't care. 1 got off the car& hubby thought he was going to try hurting me so he hit the gas as hard as he could& started doing 80mph! Let me just say i am terrified of reckless driving so i was so scared😭 thankfully we made it to the hospital a little after 2am. I got checked out& to my surprise i was 7cm dilated! I really wanted to experience an all natural birth since i didnt get to experience it with my 1st(epidural😒) so my midwife knew what i wanted but before she was there the nurse kept asking me if i wanted the epidural, i said no&she was like "idk why girls put themselves thru pain, its like they like it" umm what?😒anywho midwife got there just in time for me to push. She just let me do my thing massaging me in between contractions& letting me push until i thought i was done. I've wondered what they meant by the "ring of fire" well now i know! Worst pain EVER! The beginning contractions do not Compare to the last ones at all! Yes a lot of pain but I would do it all over again because he is worth it! Baby Julian born June 21st 6:07am 7lbs 8oz 21 in.
