Pumping to induce labor?

I'm 38 weeks. Can I use a breast pump to help induce labor?

I wouldn't, the first milk that comes out is colostrum and you want your baby to take that in first after birth. You're only 38 weeks, I would wait till 41 weeks before trying to self induce.. baby may not be ready even if you are.
