Stomach measuring smaller after baby dropped?

Is this normal? At my 35 week appt, stomach was measuring 36 and then at my 38 week appointment it was at 36 as well. Dr said its because she dropped but this seems drastic. Any similar experiences? Thanks in advanced!

That's normal. That means baby is positioning himself better in your cervix and labor could be sooner than expected. At my 36 weeks I was measuring 39 weeks. At my 38 weeks I'm measuring right at 38 weeks lol I wouldn't be too concerned unless there's other reasons like you're trickling water to cause a smaller belly etc.
