Skipping periods!?

Ok so I've heard so many different things about how skipping your period is bad but then apparnetly it's not but I haven't gotten round asking my doctor if anyone could just give me some info pleaseee ❤️❤️

I skip mine every second month, I've done this for a few years now and have had no issues apart from the slight spotting when I did it for the first time. I talked to my doctor before I did this and she said there is no real reason to have your period apart from letting you know your not pregnant, she said you can skip it as much as you like but to be on the safe side let your period come once every six to twelve months. Also try to skipping on a regular schedule so your body doesn't get confused and cause spotting :) hope that helped

I just started using the pill. 
My dr said its perfectly okay to skip up to two periods in a row, but always have the third.
