Is it normal to have a green mucus plug? I'm 31 weeks and for the past couple of days I've wiped and had a few little pieces of what looked like green snot on the toilet paper. The pieces weren't big at all and it has only happened twice. At first there was no doubt in my mind that it was little pieces of my plug which doesn't worry me because I only have 9 weeks left to go and I know that it can regenerate but the stuff I read online is very confusing. Some people say it's the plug but others say the plug isn't supposed to be green and that it's probably an infection. It doesn't smell foul and I don't have any itching or anything but still, I don't want to ignore something that could be a possible issue. I'm putting off calling my doctor because I was just there for an appointment yesterday and I know they'll probably want me to come back in for a pelvic exam which I really don't have time to schedule for this week but if I have to then I guess I have to. What do you guys think? Does this sound like it's just tiny pieces of my mucus plug? Have any of you had a greenish tinted mucus plug?
