Can anyone help?!

Yesterday I took a clear blue digital opk. It was the plain circle indicating not fertile. Today I took another one and got a solid smiley face that doesn't blink which supposedly means peak. I never got a blinking smiley face. Can that happen? This is my first time using this. Help!

Test at night and in the morning for the next few days means you'll be ovulating within the next 12-48 hours 
Some cycles I only get the blinking face 
Some cycles I only get the solid face 
I've been using them for 6 cycles now
