Morning sickness and gender?

So I've heard that if you're expecting a boy... You typically have little to no morning sickness compared with women who are expecting girls. I know all the wives' tales aren't backed by science, but I'm wondering if there is some truth to this. How sick have you been and what are you expecting (girl/boy)?

I'm having a boy and I was sooo sick my first trimester...actually until about 16 weeks. Diclegis was my lifesaver! 😂

I'm having a boy and I still get pretty nasty morning sickness. It was really bad, like had to go to the hospital bad, until about 2 weeks ago. I couldn't keep anything down to save my life. Everyone told me I was having a girl but nope! It's a boy. Lol and he's slowly killing me already 😂😂😂

Morning sickness stopped at 14 weeks with my daughter but I could actually eat tacos and Coke with her lol I'm currently 37 weeks with my son and I'm sick off and on, I puked everyday with him until 24 weeks 😳

I was insanely sick my whole first trimester...to the point where I had to get a prescription for Diclegis because I couldn't stop getting sick.  And I'm having a girl 😊

27 weeks with a boy. I have only gotten sick when I eat orange acidic fruit or have too much acid reflux. I had some fairly intense nausea here and there but never got sick from "just being pregnant" per say.

I'm 32 weeks today and having a boy... I threw up every hour up until 2 weeks ago. And then today I splurged and ate McDonald's french fries and my 2 week record went down the toilet along with my lunch... I hope if I plan to have other kids that it will be different. I have been miserable up until recently!

Not true at all, I'm having a boy and for the first 18 weeks I threw up everyday at least 3 times a day, most of the time wayyy more than that. Now I'm 20 weeks and I still throw up every few days.
