Honestly i don't think i can control what other people do so I'm not going to try.

No, we do not want photos of our baby on social media - at least not at first. We're not sure yet how much and what exactly we'll be comfortable sharing - if anything - and are planning to ask our friends/families refrain from posting, as we'd like the time to figure out how we feel. Texting pictures is fine, but anything posted on social media will come from us and only us. I fully expect a battle from my MIL on this.

We're not even posting photos of our child on social media. I don't mind if people send text messages of the baby to each other though.

Well bit at first. The baby's gender is a surprise so we are making sure no pictures but the ones with my camera are taken. Just until we announce to those who can't visit.. Like my dad who lives 1600 miles away.

We're keeping her off social media for the time being. Once we're more comfortable as parents, we will revisit the issue and see how we feel about sharing. All of our family is so far away, so I'm not sure how we will handle it

At the moment, I don't want others to post or share pictures of her because she's my baby and I don't need random strangers seeing her on Facebook. But I want to put pictures up so that friends and family can see her. I just don't know how to stop them from saving/sharing the pictures themselves

I don't like people put pictures up of my daughter unless they ask me. I'm lucky that I have people in my life that understand and respect that.
