Dry patches?

I've had itching on my hands and feet, brought it up to my NP and she told me to see my PCP. So I go and she says they can't test much because I'm pregnant and gives me a pill for the itching. I take it every day, and it doesn't help. I start seeing my OB soon and was going to ask her. Well I left to visit my parents going from hot and humid to hot and dry. And now I'm not only itching, but I have dry patches on my belly, thighs and arms. What the hell?
