Question

Packing my hospital bag and I packed 2 newborn outfits and my sister mentioned that I should take a 3 months outfit just in case he's a little on the chunky side lol anyone else doing this? Or am I overpacking ?

I just packed her coming home outfit and the blinged-out hospital  beanie I ordered special  for her! She's not going to need clothes while there. They swaddle her so good! And they give you everything you need for her. I was actually told to bring an extra bag and take as much as they'll give you! Me on the other hand...I have a toiletries bag, 2 nightgowns I can nurse in, shorts, tshirt, underwear, flip flops, and a nursing bra, and I'm gonna bring mousse bc I'm prob not gonna want to blow dry my hair lol. Also I packed headphones and I'm thinking maybe a book. Someone mentioned a towel but I'm sure the hospital one will do just fine, even if it's not as soft as what we may be used to.

Packed newborn, 0-3, 3, & 6 month. My last baby was too long for anything under 6 months with feet attached ( but definitely didn't fill them out). The excitement might have gotten the best of me, but, so what if I'll feel prepared?  Ooooo can't wait!😆

I did last time and even though my son was 8lb 11oz he still fit in newborn for at least a month. But if it makes you feel better to have a larger option it's not a bad idea.

I did! I took two outfits each of newborn and 0-3, they don't take up much room so I'd go for it! Can't hurt!

Most of my newborn outfits are on the larger side, they seem closer to the 0-3 month onesies I have. I packed my smallest nb outfit and largest just in case! One of my nieces was so tiny we had to go buy her preemie clothes, the other so big we had to go buy her 0-3! You never know lol

I'm planning on taking one or two 0-3 months outfits in addition to the newborn ones.  They don't take up much space.  They estimate her to be 7.5 lbs at birth, but I know people who were a pound off from the estimates. It'll be one less thing to worry about.

I took newborn and 0-3 months when I had my daughter as they estimated she would be 7 1/2- 8lbs but she was only 7lb 2 and even the newborn clothes swamped her. This time I've been told my baby is tiny so have packed tiny baby and newborn size but have a stack of 0-3 on the side ready at home should someone need to come get them (if the drs are wrong on size again) xx

My first born was 7lbs 13oz and all his newborn clothes were massive. We had to go buy tiny baby sizes. I wouldn't bother packing the 0-3 size. Even if they are a little bit chunkier they are so curled up when they come out I'm sure they will fit the first size
