Iron infusions?

Has anyone had them before and if so what are the side effects you had? I have severe anemia this pregnancy and start them today once a week. I've read some bad side effects...

I'd rather do those than take these stupid pills everyday that I can't remember

One of my good friends had one near the end of her prrgnancy because they couldn't get her iron up with any of the pills. She was really nervous about getting it done. She said the nurses where great while she was getting it done. All she said after was she wished she'd done it sooner.

All good to hear, they actually have to do a blood transfusion now because my hemoglobin is so low so they'll do that here in the hospital with the iron infusion. 😓

I've had one two days ago and all went well I've felt a lot better since having it. It's easy just get a canula in your arm takes about 20 minutes to go through x
