Should I be concerned?

Im 36 weeks and had my regular weekly check up today. The doctor said I'm already 1CM dilated and the baby is pretty far in my cervix(head down also). I'm reading some things about some women that aren't even dilated at all and they're further along than me!! Should I be worried my son will come early? 😳

No, I've been 1cm dilated and 60% effaced since 36 weeks and still the same at 38 weeks.

37 weeks is considered full term..hold him in as long as you can! Even if he is born tomorrow he will be just fine
