I went to the doctor today, I am currently 40+3. They did an ultrasound to check the amniotic fluid since I am still 1-2cm dilated for the 3 week in a row. Everything looked okay! I was however informed that my baby has what appears to be cysts on her kidneys or maybe a blockage. Unfortunately we won't know more until after birth when they do an ultrasound. I have done lots of research as I am a FTM & fear for my baby. The sonographer and midwife said they can typically disappear within a few months after birth. Has anyone ever heard this? Had a baby who had this? If so, any advice?
