My boyfriend & I have been together around two years or so...he's never liked coming to my house very much and I've kind of just accepted that. I'm struggling though in deciding what my child's last name should be, mine or his. He currently does not have a job and frankly I feel as if he is not trying very hard, whenever I bring this up he says he has it under control...me being 36 weeks pregnant this has me worrying. So far I have been the one to purchase pretty much everything for baby, which don't get me wrong I do not mind at all but help would be nice. He argues about the first name I have chosen for the baby but will not help pitch in any thoughts. But my main concern is last name, recently I've only being seeing him like once a week and he says he will be over all the time once baby is born. The other day I had an appointment and he didn't even ask how it went. Would you guys give the baby the last name or not considering we are not married?  So stuck on what to do, all my family is saying give the baby my last name.
