Do you think God gives you....

Question

Do you think God gives a baby as if it's your time to have one? Like death (horrible comparison) but you know when it's your time it's your time there's no turning back? Regardless of age, color, job occupation etc?

Yes. I got pregnant after lots of prayer. Couldn't get pregnant before and didn't pray. I truly believe you ask and you shall receive.

I believe everything happens for a reason whether it be God's hand or the universe at work. My SO and I were in a place in our journey where drugs and partying ruled our lives. Our daughter has saved us from that lifestyle. Neither of us really had a reason to do anything for ourselves until we saw those little plus signs and that little face on that monitor. She has given us purpose, a reason to better ourselves. If it weren't for her, there is no telling where we would be in our lives right now.

No. I chose to get pregnant and used IVF. No God had anything to do with it; medical science helped me get pregnant. I control my body.

 You have a choice on if it's the right time. 
Believe me nothing about when I got pregnant was the "right time", but I knew it was bound to happen, because of the prevention we used (or usually, lack there of)

I don't buy that whole "God sent me the baby!" Thing. But I'm not Christian so I guess how I view my Gods is different than how Christians do it.

If so... why would he give a baby to a 13 year old who thinks she's a bad ass and drinks and smokes and pops pills?
Why does he give a baby to women who you know shouldn't be mothers, and then prove it by neglecting and or killing their children??

You get pregnant when your partners swimmers finally get in there and cross the finish line.

That's my opinion on it.

I believe this 100% and I'm beyond glad God blessed me at the time he did. Just being pregnant has changed so many things for the better in all aspects of my life already. I thank him every single day.

This is my nephew Samuel. He passed away at 8 months in 2007. My sister has been in prison for almost 10 years for child endangerment. It's a long story but she was innocent. She will be coming out January 31 2017. My baby is due on my nephews birthday December 6, 2016. I am 19 years old. I'm not proud of being pregnant at this age, especially without the dad being involved because he wanted an abortion but I couldn't because the due date. This baby really is a blessing not only to me but to my family to bring back the loudness in the house

Absolutely....and the same when someone miscarries. After a week of mourning the loss of my first 15 years ago, I knew it was a blessing in disguise. We just weren't ready at that time for a baby. Four years later it was "time".

Yes. I was headed down a really bad path when I got pregnant with my twins. Their father told me to abort, I had no job, I was being evicted from my apartment basically the poster child for when NOT to get pregnant. I didn't even know I was pregnant right away, I was so out of it. Those babies saved my life. I've stayed sober, worked my ass off, I'll have my degree in one more semester and I've done it without their father. I have an amazing family that has supported me in every way possible and my kids are just GREAT KIDS! So proud of them and their accomplishments. So yes, I believe that my timing is flawed but Gods is not. ❤️
